My little daughter Chaya bas Esther is only 3 years old. She’s a pure, sweet child with shining eyes — and right now, she is battling a rare and dangerous illness that is threatening her life.
When Chaya was born after a big miracle, we named her Chaya — because she was our “life.”
Today… her name is what we are begging for. The doctors told us there is a special treatment in Germany that can save her life. It is complicated, it is expensive, and it is urgent.
They made it very clear to us: There is no time to wait. Every day that passes can damage her chances. We are living with פחד every single hour. The total cost for the treatment and everything around it — the medical expenses, flights, and the required stay — is $170,000. And we have no way to come up with this.
My husband is an avreich from Kiryat Sefer, and I work as a secretary. We don’t have savings for this, and we don’t have family we can lean on. So with a broken heart, we are turning to Klal Yisrael.
