My name is Feigy Elbaz, the fifth of eleven children.
My father is an avreich who has devoted his life to learning Torah. My mother a"h worked and supported him for years. We grew up simply — but we had a warm home full of Torah.
Then my mother was diagnosed with cancer.
My family did everything to save her. We traveled for treatments. We went to specialists. We spent close to $1 million. We had nothing left to give — and we gave it anyway.
She passed away.
Now I'm engaged. B"H, I found my zivug. But my wedding is in a few weeks and we have nothing. No money for a hall. No money for a dress. Nothing for the basics a kallah needs.
My father still sits and learns every day. It's what keeps him alive after everything. But he can't help me.
I know hachnasas kallah is one of the greatest mitzvos. I'm asking you — please help me get to my chuppah.
May anyone who helps be blessed with simchos in their own family. Thank you so much,
Feigy
