I’ve had the privilege of fighting inside Gaza for 5 months, undergoing extremely sensitive missions. Right now, I’m grateful to be alive, after surviving an almost fatal incident that left me severely wounded.
I’m home now, unable to fight, but the security of my friends keeps me up at night.
Many of my friends are fighting in terror hotspots around Gaza and the Northern border, wearing outdated bulletproof vests and helmets. It’s a proven fact that the guys with outdated protective gear equipment are more likely to be injured in case of an attack.
There is a critical need to purchase up-to-date equipment to support the IDF. Organization Shomrei Yisroel has opened a fund to ensure that no fighting soldier is exposed to enemy fire. However, the costs are high, and the organization depends on the public to get the equipment that the soldiers need. Sponsorship opportunities include bulletproof plates ($1,020 each), tactical vests ($800 each), ballistic helmets ($340 each), and protective goggles ($180 each).
As someone who's been on the ground where the most intense fighting has happened, I’m begging you to allow more vests, goggles, and helmets to be purchased. The IDF soldiers need your support right now to have protective gear that could save their lives.
