My name is Eli Itzkowitz and I am deeply pained to announce the loss of my wonderful wife, Tamar, to cancer.
Her funeral felt like a nightmare. I didn’t think it was real. My children sobbing and hugging her shrouded body, not wanting to let go.
Now I have been thrust into the complex role of Abba and Ima, and we are behind on rent due to Tamar’s medical bills, and if I don’t pay the rent by next week, we won’t have a home, a roof, over our very heads.
Klal Yisroel, in our most vulnerable hour, we turn to you. Our children have endured more pain than any child should. Now, they desperately need stability after having lost their mother. Please, help me to take care of them on my own. We need your help.
Thank you,
Eli Itzkowitz
