Hello,
My name is Pessi and I live in Eretz Yisroel. Boruch Hashem, I am a kallah and engaged to a wonderful boy. Preparing for the wedding, however, has been a painful experience. We have lived very simply since my father passed away a few years ago from cancer. There is very little money in the family to afford making a simcha.
We are totally stuck as to how we will afford a hall, invitations, food for the guests, clothing for the siblings, a wedding dress, rings, sheva brachos… All the regular things. We are all feeling very worried, and embarrassed, to be lacking so much. It’s hard to describe my embarrassment as I stand in line at a gemach, asking for a loan, just me among all the men, and the looks of pity I get.
The wedding is scheduled for this Tu B’Av. Please if you can help, hachnasas kallah is a huge mitzvah and my kallah & I really need your help. The Torah says that Hashem listens to the voice of the orphan and I will daven under my chuppah that all those who help me should be rewarded with everything good!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Pessi
