Hello, my name is R’ Porias. Today, my wife and the mother of our 5 children, Yocheved Porias a"h, passed away. Yocheved was an amazing eishes chayil, she was a graphic designer for many years and she was a wonderful mother. She did everything she could to be there for her kids during her fight with cancer. She suffered so much. And now she is gone, and we don't know how we can go on.
As my wife was getting sicker and sicker, all she wanted in this world was to be there for her children- To see them grow, to be there for every milestone still ahead of them. She fought so hard to stay. And now she is gone, and they will grow up without their Ima.
The children are devastated. The youngest barely understands. The older ones do, and that is almost harder to watch.
Please, if you can, help our family. Since Yocheved got sick, I have been focused on tending to her needs as well as the children, and we have gotten by on very, very little income. I have five children to provide for and do not know how I will be able to support a large family on my own.
