UPDATE MARH 10: For many parents, this exhausting cycle has become the new routine — running to the shelter in middle of the night, waiting for the all-clear, stepping outside, putting the kids back to sleep, and then running back again when the sirens sound, while the anxiety and being unable to leave home gives them flashbacks to Covid. Shomrei Yisroel volunteers are delivering food packages and basic supplies directly to families who cannot safely leave their shelters. UPDATE MARCH 5th: We are now on the 6th day of the war. Iranian ballistic missiles continue to strike Israeli cities, with several direct hits on homes and even bomb shelters. Across the country, families ran for shelter even in the middle of Purim celebrations, as sirens interrupted Megillah readings and seudos. At the same time, Hezbollah has joined the war, launching missiles toward Israel’s north. Right now, thousands of Israelis remain confined to bomb shelters and safe rooms, afraid to step outside as sirens and missile attacks continue. They are relying solely on their American brethren for help!
Right now, all over Israel, air-raid sirens are blaring. Bombs are falling. Families have been stuck in their safe rooms and in bomb shelters for days, with sirens going off every few minutes.
