UPDATE WED 09/10: We’ve all spent Rosh Hashona praying desperately for Yitchak’s life, hoping he’ll get to Boston this year. On Motza Rosh Hashona, Yitchak turned to me and said, “I prayed really hard that I should live. It’s gonna be ok, right?”
I didn’t know how to answer him. We’re running out of time and we need help! Please make our miracle happen! Help my little boy live to see the next Tishrei.
Hello, I’m Rachel. I went from being a regular Mom of 5 to an overwhelmed director of a medical and fundraising headquarters – against my will.
Two months ago, my 9-year-old son Yitzchak started complaining of severe headaches. We took him for testing right away, but nothing could prepare us for the news – our sweet little boy had an advanced stage 4 cancer tumor sitting in his brain.
Yitchak knows that his illness is serious, but he doesn’t know that we can’t even help him beat it. He needs to get to Boston for surgery ASAP, but it costs a staggering $120,000. We’re a regular working family, my husband is in computers and I work in marketing. The costs are miles beyond our league.
This fund is our only hope, but we’re running out of time. If we don’t raise $120,000 we won’t get to Boston. But Klal Yisroel is too big to let a little boy die because of lack of funds. We have no one else to turn to – please help us get Yitzchak to Boston before it’s too late!
With eternal thanks,
Rachel
P.S. It would mean the world to me if you could keep my son in your prayers. 🙏 His full name is Yitzchak Eliyahu Ben Rachel.
