Update — Week Three: The need for further assistance remains heartbreakingly critical. Continued donations are not only about providing immediate relief but also about helping the Ariks restore a sense of normalcy. Please extend your support for a displaced family!
Hello,
My name is Rebbetzin Arik, and I am the proud mother of four sweet, pure-hearted girls, k’’h. My husband, Rav Eliyahu Arik shlita, is a choshuv avreich. Until just a few days ago, we lived in Bnei Brak, and life was stable.
Then the missile struck.
Everything began to shake. It felt as though the world was ending. Boruch Hashem, we all made it out alive — and that is the greatest blessing. But we have been left with nothing: no home, no clothing, nothing at all to our name.
I don’t know where to turn. The house that once gave my children stability and a sense of safety is completely gone. In a single moment, everything we had was destroyed. My girls are still in shock and have not yet begun to process the full extent of what we’ve lost.
Please help me provide my daughters with the most basic necessities and a place to stay. We cannot get through this alone.
Please help us begin again from utter destruction.
TRANSLATION OF HAMLATZAH FROM RAV AMRAM FRIED SHLITA (Original below):
I am writing on behalf of Rav Eliyahu Arik shlita, an avreich dedicated to his Torah study and the father of several children, bli ayin hara.
In these days, their home was destroyed by a direct hit and they have been left with nothing.
It is certainly a great mitzvah to help and assist them, and all those who help and assist them should see abundance and blessing in all matters.
Rav Amram Fried shlita
Bnei Brak
