TRAGEDY IN RAMOT: Support Rabbi Yosef David HY”D's grieving family. 💔

Fund ID: 1414

Rabbi Yosef David, Hy”d, was standing at the bus stop in Ramot Junction, a sefer open in his hands as he waited for his ride to kollel. Then tragedy struck: terrorists opened fire, and Rabbi Yosef David was among the six precious souls murdered in cold blood.

He had just left his position teaching children in Talmud Torah and was on his way to kollel. At only 43 years old, he leaves behind a widow and four young children — the oldest just ten, the youngest only a year old.

His family describes him as a true talmid chacham. Every spare moment was used to learn, whether at home, on the way to kollel, or even while waiting for a bus. He always woke up at sunrise, learned without interruption, and lived with deep faith in Hashem. Despite years of financial struggle, he was always joyful, always smiling.

Right now, the family has no way to move forward. Their expenses — rent, food, schooling, and daily life — will only grow, and Mrs. David cannot carry this burden alone.

The family said goodbye to their husband and father in the morning and buried him that evening. The shirt that the little boy ripped is the same one his father helped him put on that morning. The pain they have to process is indescribable.

Please support the family after this horrific attack. Let them know that Am Yisroel stands with them. Your donation will directly help this widow and her four children stay afloat in the months ahead.

❤ Donate $180 to send a condolence gift to the family.
