My name is Sara Yurowitz. I am battling metastasized cancer and time is not on my side.
Every night, my little ones ask, ‘Mommy, are you feeling better yet?’ My son Yosef, just five years old, told me he’d daven extra hard if it means I can stay with them. My children’s innocence is so pure, yet I worry they don’t know the reality we’re facing. They don’t understand how close we are to losing our chance.
My husband, a melamed, does everything he can, but we’re drowning in debt, and we have no money left to pay for the medical care my very life depends on.
The reality is harsh: without your help, I won't see my youngest grow up. I won't be there for birthdays, chasunahs, to see them become parents of their own. Please, help me beat cancer. Help me be there for my children. Please, don’t wait. We are racing against time, and every moment counts more than ever before!
Translation of Hamlatzah from R’ Yechiel Michel Leiner shlita of Beit Shemesh:
“A very precious Jew has come to me, R’ Avraham Yurowitz, and told me that sadly his father is in need of assistance and his mother desperately requires medical treatments, and he is collecting money to help them.
Merciful Jews! It’s hard to hear the pain of another Jew. Please come to his aid, whoever takes pity on others from Heaven they will take pity on him.
Whoever opens his heart to help the family who are in need of huge sums, Hashem should open for him the gates of parnassah, the gates of righteousness, the gates of Siyata D’shmaya and the gates of peace of mind. Hashem should help and give them abundance, and they should merit a good and long life, with years full of blessing with happiness and success.
We should merit to be written in the Book of the Righteous,
Rav Yechiel Michel Leiner shlita”
