ALS is a disease that makes people shudder, but it’s been my life for 8 years. It’s hard to describe what it’s like. To want to laugh and talk and even put on my shoes, but to know that I’ll never be able to again, because ALS has no cure.
Until now, I managed, with the help of Hashem, my husband, and my family.
But right now I need a miracle to keep me alive. After 8 years of paying $10,000 monthly for the breathing apparatus that keeps me alive, we’re left destitute. The terrifying reality is that we cannot afford this month’s bill.
