Dear Friends,
As I sit in the sterile white hospital room, I find it challenging to put words to the unspeakable pain my family is enduring. I am Bassi Ferber, blessed with five beautiful kids - two sons and three daughters. Yet today, my heart is heavy, broken in fact.
Both my boys, my precious sons, have been diagnosed with cancer. One wrestles with a brain tumor and has just come out of surgery. Our days are now consumed with hospital visits, countless tests, and an overwhelming sense of uncertainty.
Every day is a battle - emotionally, physically, and financially. We are grappling to understand which treatments will be the beacon of hope for our boys, and the costs are mounting rapidly. I humbly reach out to you, not as a stranger, but as a fellow mother, a fellow Jew, a fellow human being. We desperately need your help to give our sons a fighting chance.
Thank you. With tears in my eyes,
Bassi Ferber
