It happened so fast.
On Sunday, the first day of selichos, my wife was getting ready to attend a cousin’s Bar Mitzvah, when she suddenly collapsed.
Hatzala tried to resuscitate her for an hour. They did everything they could to save her, but I watched helplessly as my wife slipped away.
We are in shock.
My youngest is a tiny baby girl who was born just two weeks ago.
How can I console 9 little kids and a brand new newborn, whose entire lives were just shattered … when my own heart is now in pieces.
We never thought this would happen to us. Please, please, help me to take care of my children on my own without my wonderful Rebbetzin. I don’t know how we will survive this.
Hashem should bless you.
Please,
R’ Aharon Herbst
