SOUTHERN ISRAELI FAMILIES EMERGENCY FUND: Please Help These Displaced And Struggling Families Survive This Challenging Time

Fund ID: 6177

A message from the Kupat Tzedaka of Netivot:

Dear Klal Yisroel,

October 7th changed all of our lives, but it most uprooted and devastated those who live in the Southern towns bordering on Gaza.

Thousands were evacuated from their homes or otherwise fled for their lives, and have been placed in new communities. Nearly all are in potentially dangerous financial situations.

Many left their jobs behind. Others’ businesses are failing. Mothers are home with kids with a husband fighting in Gaza, or even worse, a husband murdered by terrorists. They are struggling to pay rent, struggling to buy groceries, struggling to raise children in a new town, in new schools. Many are paying double rent, for the place in the South they left, and the new place.

The people of the South need your help.

Please donate here to help the families of Netivot, and surrounding areas.
Donations go toward rent, groceries, clothing, and other essentials for Southern families who have been affected by the war.

Tizku l’mitzvot!

Founded in 1992 under the leadership of Harav Hagaon Shlomo Zalmen Auerbach zt”l and Harav Hagaon Yosef Shalom Elyashiv zt”l, Vaad Harabanim L'Inyanei Tzedaka B'Eretz Hakodesh based on the following principles: Firstly, Klal Yisrael needs a reliable address for sending their tzedakah money. They should know that all their donations, down to the last cent, are managed faithfully and strictly according to Halachah. No less important is the second principle, that the needy must have somewhere to turn when a crisis strikes. Over three decades later, Vaad Harabanim continues to function with the guidance of the Gedolei Hador and in accordance with its founding principles.
